Guided by relationships. Anchored in evidence.

Weaving science, Indigenous Knowledge, and strategy to serve projects, people, and place.

We are a specialized marine consulting team that brings rigour to the data and care to the dialogue. We work across Canada’s Pacific, Atlantic, and Arctic coastlines, guiding projects from uncertainty to regulatory approval by defining clear pathways, using plain-language evidence, and crafting deliverables built for scrutiny.  We believe projects are better when Indigenous Peoples help shape them from the start, are meaningfully included at every stage, and tangibly share in the benefits. Together, we move from complexity to decisions, and from decisions to results. The outcome: approvals that stand, monitoring that matters, and relationships you can count on.

Bluedot’s name is a reference to “The Pale Blue Dot” – an iconic photograph of Earth taken by NASA.

The image shows Earth as a tiny pixel in the vastness of space and inspired famed astronomer Carl Sagan to write a book urging us to take better care of our home and one another.

There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.
